After 13 years of dedicated service, CF Roberts bids a fond farewell to Rob Lowe, who retired on Friday 27th March.
Rob joined the business as a Senior Design Engineer and quickly built a strong reputation for his technical expertise, professionalism and dependable approach. Widely respected across the company, he became a trusted figure within the design team, with colleagues regularly seeking his guidance and support. His knowledge, combined with his approachable nature, made him an invaluable member of the organisation.
Throughout his time at CF Roberts, Rob played a central role in delivering large, bespoke design and build projects. He was particularly influential during the early stages, when building services information was typically developed to BSRIA Stage 2/3. His ability to interpret and validate this preliminary data was key to progressing schemes into detailed technical design.
This expertise helped ensure a seamless transition into later project phases and supported the preparation of accurate and robust tender submissions – strengthening both the competitiveness and reliability of bids.
Among his many achievements, Rob was integral to the MEP design and build successes of a battery testing facility for Vertical Aerospace in Bristol, Spectrum Medical’s office and warehouse development in Gloucester as well as numerous new-build hotels up and down the country.
CF Roberts extends its sincere thanks to Rob for his hard work, dedication and lasting contributions, and wishes him a long, happy, and well-deserved retirement.
