Our core values
We have 9 core values that shape the CF Roberts culture and drive our commitment to excellence in every project. They have been specifically developed in consultation with our staff and customers to match what is important to both parties, with an emphasis on professionalism, safety, and integrity. These values and protocols are embedded in our culture, ensuring every project is completed with the utmost care and responsibility.
You Represent CF Roberts
CF Roberts believes in honesty, openness, and integrity in all we do. Individuals within the business must always reflect and promote these values whilst providing our services. CF Roberts believes that these values help to develop professional and sustainable relationships with colleagues and clients and will ultimately help us to achieve our goals.
We Are Guests
CF Roberts believes that strict adherence to site rules will maintain a positive, professional relationship with our clients and ensure everyone’s safety. It is courteous to maintain a clean, neatly organised workspace on site. Clean up after ourselves, and encourage those around you to do the same, observing the environmental controls in place.
Safety Culture
CF Roberts recognises the importance of a shared safety culture by developing shared attitudes, perceptions, and behaviours to health and safety, prioritising safety over production. Promoting effective communication on safety-related topics across the business, and engaging with our engineers in order to drive safety performance
Stop & Think
We’ve said it before, the key to strong safety performance is taking pride in doing every job the right way. Before starting any task, take a moment to complete a Point of Work Safety Assessment (POWSA). This simple step helps you think about potential risks and how to keep yourself and others safe. When each of us makes safety a priority, we move closer to the level of safety excellence we all aim for.
RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statements)
Our detailed RAMS process, accessible through our digital platforms, guides safe work practices. We encourage our team to engage in process improvement discussions to enhance safety.
Incident Reporting
Reporting accidents and near-misses ensures continuous improvement in our safety measures. We are committed to learning from every incident to prevent future risks.
Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO)
Our stringent LOTO procedures are designed to minimise risks in electrical, gas, and water services, reinforcing a culture of vigilance in hazardous situations.
Working at Height
CF Roberts works to the principle of avoiding work at height wherever possible. Where this cannot be avoided, we work to reduce height risks, using Point of Work Safety Assessments (POWSA) by evaluating and mitigating hazards wherever possible.
Slips, Trips, and Falls
As the most common workplace injury, we emphasise good housekeeping, vigilance, and appropriate footwear to reduce the risk of slips, trips, and falls on dynamic construction sites.
