The CFR team based at the Vehicle Storage and Support Programme (VSSP), Ashcurch, in conjunction and collaboration with Skanska, have proudly delivered a briefing to all site-based companies and trades, demonstrating the dangers and safe use of electrical systems and recognised safety procedures (SSOW).

The team were approached by the Skanska Senior Leadership Team to take part in their Group worldwide recognised safety week, and to give an informative briefing upon one of the 4 Skanska Group focused core values for construction site Safety, Electricity.

The Briefing took place on Wednesday 14th May 2025, and was led by the CFR team’s very own Simon W, who gave a fantastic, interactive presentation for all who attended.

The presentation was a huge success with the CFR team’s effort being praised by Skanska directors who were present to show their support across the whole week’s campaign.

The event was attended by over 70 operatives from across 8 different site-based companies at the VSSP project.

A big thank you for their help in staging the event goes to both Scott W and Site Supervisor Adam E. Their input and help were invaluable to the successful running of this event.
