Our CF Roberts Social Committee plan at least two social events per year which have fundraising initiatives built in for our chosen local charities:

Cheltenham Guardians Safeguarding Team

Established in 2015 the award-winning CGST is a specialist safeguarding service provider delivering enhanced and emergency safeguarding services into Cheltenham’s night-time economy. Since 2015 these volunteers have ensured the safety of thousands of women and have saved the community, the emergency services, the NHS, and the criminal justice system over £1.8million and thousands of operational duty hours.

Night-time economy safety team, similar safety initiative to CGST.

Mobile Safe Space Nottingham

A mobile unit parked up on Derby Road, the busiest area during the night-time economy, again offering protection to vulnerable individuals.

June 2024: We hired a function space at one of our local village pubs to gather for some food and to watch England in the initial stages of the 2024 European Football Cup. The social committee held a raffle selling tickets in the office and on the night. We also went round with a pot on the night collecting any unwanted loose change.

December 2024: We held a Christmas fundraising day in our Cheltenham office on Thursday 12th December to include Secret Santa, A Christmas jumper competition (£2 entry) and a bake or buy cake sale.

These two events raised a combined total of £351.09
