Travelodge Leeds saw CF Roberts undertake refurbishments to 127 bedrooms, public areas and upgrading of the Bar Café to the new Travelodge Bar 85 Brand as part of our wider Travelodge framework agreements.

Challenges for the team included facilitating the electrical refurbishment to the bedrooms on a 20 room per week rolling programme while the hotel remained open to the public.  Meaning noise and disruption to the public had to be kept to a minimum.

The bedrooms have been modernised with energy-efficient LED lighting installed in both the main sleeping areas and bathrooms. To enhance convenience for today’s travellers, new USB-A and USB-C power sockets have been added—addressing the increasing need for versatile charging options. For improved electrical safety, the power and lighting circuits in the bedrooms have been upgraded to include RCBO (Residual Current Breaker with Overcurrent protection), ensuring better protection against electrical faults.

The Bar Café lighting was fully refurbished with new lights and fluorescent signage to the new Travelodge Bar 85 spec.  All controlled via a new Mode Tiger dimming system.
