Powys County Hall Pump House

CF Roberts were delighted to be awarded the Electrical & Mechanical contract for the comprehensive office refurbishment to Powys County Council’s Pump House office space.

The project involved both aesthetic improvements and critical infrastructure upgrades to modernise work and break out spaces creating a more efficient, secure, and future-ready environment for staff. 

Scope of Works

  • Power & Data Infrastructure: Installation of new power and data points to support the client’s evolving technology requirements. This will ensure enhanced operational efficiency and provide scalability for future expansion.
  • Lighting Improvements: Implementation of energy-efficient LED lighting solutions both internally and externally. The new lighting system will deliver better illumination levels, reduce energy costs and lower ongoing maintenance costs.

  • New Accessible Toilet Facilities: Complete installation of modern, fully accessible washrooms, enhancing user comfort, and bringing accessibility and hygiene in line with current standards. 

  • Access Control & Security: Installation of a new door access control system and comprehensive CCTV network. The systems will strengthen site security and safeguard staff, visitors, and assets.
  • Fire Alarm Systems: Upgrade of the existing fire alarm system in accordance with the latest safety regulations. 

 

  • Interior Upgrades: Complete redecoration of office and customer-facing areas to refresh and modernise the working environment.
