Works at the Builth Wells Sports Centre requested by Powys County Council required CF Roberts to facilitate the removal of old sports hall lighting and replacing with new more efficient lighting for the hall. Included in the install was additional emergency lighting.

Tight time frames were in place for this project. The sports centre needed to reduce lost income due to the hall being out of use whilst the works were being completed. This relied on our team being co-ordinated and efficient in managing all aspects of the project.

To meet the deadlines, we needed to ensure seamless communication and a well-organised approach between contractors, suppliers and the sports centre’s management. Putting in place work arounds for limited access to the site during the day and movement of required equipment on site as no site storage was available.

By taking this approach, we were able to mitigate disruptions and maintain focus on the goal; minimizing downtime and revenue loss for the sports centre.
